What kind of company is Verdex AI?+
We are a technology-driven solutions company that addresses climate and environmental challenges using AI-based dMRV (digital measurement, reporting, and verification). We support national governments, local authorities, and companies across five areas: environmental impact assessment, carbon neutrality strategy, ESG, smart energy management, and the circular economy.
How does the free assessment work?+
Once you leave some basic information, a member of our team will contact you to understand your existing reduction equipment and data. We then hold a consultation of around 30 minutes to outline applicable methodologies and a general direction.
Can any company’s reduction technology be converted into carbon credits?+
No. Additionality is a core requirement for K-ETS offset projects. Measures that are already legally mandated, or routine equipment replacements, are often not eligible. We recommend first confirming the actual feasibility of registration through a free assessment.
How long does it take to register a K-ETS offset project?+
Because the timeline varies with the project type and the state of data readiness, we cannot give a single standard duration. During the assessment, we will provide an estimated schedule tailored to your situation.
How are consulting fees determined?+
Fees depend on project scale, whether data infrastructure needs to be built, and the scope of methodology registration support. A precise quotation is provided at the proposal stage following the free assessment.
How can we tell whether our company needs to prepare for CBAM?+
If your company exports covered goods — such as iron and steel, aluminum, cement, or fertilizers — to the EU, you are likely to need to prepare. We will confirm whether you are in scope, and to what extent, during a consultation.
How is dMRV data collected?+
We collect data in real time using methods suited to each site — IoT sensors, vehicle on-board diagnostics (OBD), equipment metering, and so on — and automatically convert it into reduction volumes using the calculation formulas of domestic and international methodologies.
Can national and local governments use your services?+
Yes. We support national and local governments with climate and environmental strategy development, climate risk assessment, and reduction target setting.
Can we consult with you if we are already working with another organization?+
Yes. We are also open to partial collaboration, such as data verification (dMRV) for an ongoing project or identifying additional methodologies.
